I dye my hair. I know you all think I look this beautiful naturally, but I admit I have to work at it. I just love those little tubes of conditioner that come in hair dye kits. Those of you who color your hair know which ones I mean and for those who don't have to color......... well, God bless you!
I was cleaning out my bathroom cupboard the other day and found 3 of those little conditioner tubes. My bottle of Herbal Essence conditioner was just about on it's last leg, and I wasn't looking forward to buying more just yet. I set the tubes lovingly in the shower and giggled at my triumph once again of not having to go spend any money.
Since I wear glasses and really can't see a lot without them, everything that happens in the shower is pretty much a guessing game as it is. But this morning I was ready. I knew right where my glorious tubes were at and I was ready to step from the shower sporting Brooke Shields hair.
Something didn't feel quite right when I applied this 'conditioner', but since I wasn't use to such a luxurious product lately, I just assumed it was my imagination. I got out, got dressed, and brushed my hair - but it still didn't feel right so I began to think maybe it was expired. With my glasses firmly planted back on my face, I went to the bathroom and grabbed my tube of 'conditioner'. After reading the label TWICE I finally came to terms with the fact that I did indeed condition my hair with Stretch Mark Serum.
I'm not really sure where exactly this sample came from or when I even sent for it, but I do know that at least for today, I won't have those little unsightly lines on the top of my head.
So my advise to you is this: Always double check the product sample before you use it since it's probably a label you're not use to seeing. Maybe separating items into 'above the neck' and 'below the neck' isn't such a bad idea.
