Recently I received two bottles of Soft Scrub household cleaners to try: Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl, and Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Cleaner.

I have well-water which likes to leave a streak of rust on the inside of my toilet bowl, so the first thing I did was grab the Soft Scrub Bath & Bowl Cleaner and head straight for the toilet. I sprayed, scrubbed, and inspected. (Even though these products are 'scrub free' and work wonderful with no scrubbing, I had to do it anyway out of habit). It didn't work. I Sprayed again, scrubbed, and inspected closer. Nope. I was sure the third time must be a charm, so I once again sprayed, scrubbed, and (crossing my fingers) inspected again. 

Since these Soft Scrub cleaners are equiped with a nozzle that will even spray upside down, I had to play with that added attraction like a 2 year old. But, sadly it didn't take the rust off no matter which direction I held the bottle and no matter how far my face got to the toilet during inspections. Never one to give up, I moved on to the bathroom sink drain. Same senario. Still not willing to admit defeat, I swung back the shower curtain like a super hero playing hide and seek, and hit that drain with no less than 5 shots of the trigger. Twice like a normal person, once upside down, and two more times sideways while swinging my left foot in the air behind me like a ballerina cleaning princess. Since the bottles are equiped with a nozzle that sprays a mist or foam, I decided to try the 'foam' option this time.

While waiting for my Soft Scrub puddle to work it's magic, I decided to kill some time and go back and properly clean the rest of the toilet, sink and shower. Since there's no need to scrub with these cleaners, it was much easier than man-handling the toilet was. Even though NEITHER of these cleaners claim to remove rust spots, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try, so set my goals high. In the end, I have the cleanest, nicest smelling bathroom on the block because everything except the rust spots now sparkle!

I've since moved on to the kitchen and will spare you all the gorey details from in there. I will say that it looks and smells just as clean as the bathroom does, and being able to spray the bottle while holding it upside down is a life saver when cleaning the inside of a microwave!
